Tera McCormick-Skinner

Teachers are not just the lifeblood of our programs they are the ones who help us thrive! Tera McCormick-Skinner, a fifth-grade teacher at Rock Island Center for Math and Science, helps year-round with after school, intercession and summer programs. Tera reflects on her opportunities to spend more time with the students by stating “The summer program is really fun. I enjoy the field trips. Spring Forward summer camps allow teachers to spend a lot of time with students outside the classroom setting. We get a lot of feedback from teachers that they really enjoy going on field trips with the kids.”

Tera is a lifelong resident of the QCA and enjoys being a part of the Spring Forward family. The feelings are mutual as we love having her in our family of professionals!
