Open to all Rock Island- Milan School District students, 1st - 6th grade
Breakfast and check-in at 9am.

Grades 1-6
Yogart is designed to get students in a yoga flow, spark their imagination and encourage creative thinking and expression. The program will be led by Figge Art Museum and Challenge to Change staff and culminate with a Friday field trip to the Figge.

Taekwondo
Earl Hanson
Grades 1-6
Students will spend the week learning the discipline and art of Taekwondo (non-contact) with instructors from MAI: Tae Kwon Do Karate & Hapkido. Taekwondo is fun way to relieves stress, increase stamina and build confidence.

Swim Lessons
Rock Island Center of Math and Science
Grades 1-4 ONLY
Do your part and make your student “water smart“ with beginner swim lessons at the Rock Island Fitness Center. Instructors from Rock Island Parks and Recreation will teach students swim basics and how to be safe in and around the water.
*Students will need to bring a towel, wear proper swimming attire and have dry clothes to change into after lessons.

Basketball
Rock Island Center of Math and Science
Grades 1-6
Students will have a ball while they learn basic basketball skills with coaches from Rock Island Parks and Recreation. Young hoopers will gain confidence and they learn to dribble, pass, shoot and work together with teammates.
