Dan McNeil, Executive Director

Mr. McNeil has over nine years of nonprofit  experience including serving in executive roles at the Putnam and Figge Art Museum.  Prior to working in the nonprofit sector, he was employed with the Davenport School District as an educator and coach. He studied elementary education at Western Illinois University and graduated with a Board of Trustees degree in 2006. He also served on the Moline Park Board. In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his wife, Betsy, and son, Leo. He enjoys spending time outdoors and believes his life’s quest is to build the perfect fire.
As Executive Director of SFLC, Mr. McNeil is responsible for fundraising, staff management, community partnerships and overseeing program development.

Robbie McIntyre, Program Manager

Mr. McIntyre has over 15 years experience working in programming for organizations such as the Bettendorf Park District, Scott County Family Y and Two Rivers YMCA. He graduated from Western Illinois University in 2005 with a Bachelor’s degree in Recreation, Parks and Tourism Administration. Robbie gets great satisfaction from being able to reach at risk youth and making a positive difference in their lives. In his free time Robbie enjoys traveling, attending concerts, supporting his beloved Chicago sports teams and experiencing as many new things in life as he can.

Mary McNeil, Business Manager

Mary has been working in the not for profit world for the past seven years as a marketer, fundraiser and public relations specialist.  She graduated with a Master’s in Public Affairs Reporting from the University of Illinois-Springfield and worked as a reporter for 10 years before raising three children.  In recent years, she helped promote Lights ON for Learning after school programs and enjoys seeing children reach their potential.  As Business Manager of Spring Forward, she will handle all the paperwork in the office, human resource issues, as well as event planning.
